Job description

What you'll do:

Reporting to the Director, Acquisition Marketing, this role owns paid search strategy across Google Ads, Bing, and other search platforms, managing seven figures in monthly media spend. You will scale what works and build the experimentation engine that unlocks the next wave of profitable growth, with a heavy focus on expanding beyond brand. This is a chance to shape the paid search function inside a fast-moving, rapidly growing company.

In this role you will:

  • Own paid search strategy across Google Ads, Bing, and other engines, managing seven figures in monthly media spend
  • Build and scale a non-brand experimentation program, designing structured tests to unlock incremental, profitable growth
  • Design and run experiments such as geo tests, holdouts, and bid and budget tests to measure true incrementality, not just last-click wins
  • Set account strategy across budget allocation, bidding, audience targeting, impression share, and quality score
  • Lead campaign structuring, keyword and audience strategy, and large-scale keyword architecture across search and display
  • Guide ad copy and creative testing, driving rapid iteration to improve performance
  • Partner with analytics to define reporting frameworks and turn weekly and monthly performance into clear strategic recommendations
  • Apply rigorous analytical thinking to attribution and measurement, pressure-testing what is actually driving results
  • Move quickly in an ambiguous, fast-changing environment, reprioritizing as new data lands
  • Serve as the team's subject matter expert on paid search and PPC trends

What you'll need:

  • 5 to 7+ years in SEM and Paid Search (PPC), with a track record managing, optimizing, and scaling seven figures in monthly media spend
  • Proven experience scaling paid search and expanding beyond brand into non-brand growth
  • Strong experimentation mindset, with hands-on experience designing and reading tests (incrementality, geo, holdout, A/B)
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills, comfortable reasoning through attribution, incrementality, and basic statistics to separate signal from noise (no coding or SQL required)
  • Expertise across major PPC platforms (Google Ads, Bing Ads, and others)
  • Experience with Google Analytics and internal reporting tools
  • Proven ability to work independently while influencing and aligning multiple teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to work quickly and flexibly, staying effective as priorities shift
  • Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
  • BS/BA degree preferred

Bonus Points for:

  • Google Ads / Bing certification
  • Experience in financial services
