Our ideal candidate is passionate about fostering mental health awareness and delivering exceptional care to students. With a competitive yearly salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000, this role combines the flexibility of remote work with the rewarding opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.

About the Organization

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is a progressive private practice renowned for delivering tailored mental health services designed to meet the unique needs of our clientele. Located in Saint Petersburg, Florida, we prioritize a client-centered approach that focuses on individual, couples, and family therapy. Our organized, supportive environment facilitates both therapist and client growth and understanding. We emphasize evidence-based treatment while providing a comfortable and confidential setting for therapy.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing our practitioners to engage with clients effectively from home while enjoying a balanced lifestyle. As part of our commitment to accessibility, we maintain an open line of communication with both the clinical team and the educational staff within our partner schools. Our collaborative framework fosters a sense of community, supports ongoing communication, and encourages constructive feedback.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of students' mental health needs, including gathering background information and discussing presenting issues in both individual and group settings.
  • Provide direct therapy services, including individual sessions, family therapy, and couples counseling, employing evidence-based therapeutic methods such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and narrative therapy.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with students and families, regularly reviewing progress and adapting interventions to ensure efficacy.
  • Actively engage with educational staff to provide insights about student mental health issues, ensuring a holistic approach to each student's educational experience.
  • Maintain strict adherence to confidentiality, ethical standards, and legal requirements in all aspects of client interactions and documentation.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to stay informed about the latest best practices and innovations in mental health care.
  • Foster trusting therapeutic relationships that promote openness, healing, and collaboration through empathetic listening and guidance.
  • Assist students in navigating personal and academic challenges, offering practical strategies and resources to enhance their resilience and coping skills.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with students from diverse backgrounds, addressing a wide range of mental health concerns that affect their academic performance and personal well-being. You will have the opportunity to support individuals with anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and interpersonal conflicts. Your interventions will not only focus on individual therapy but will also incorporate family dynamics and school-related challenges, ensuring a comprehensive approach to student mental health.

Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
  • At least two years of experience providing mental health services in a clinical setting, ideally with a focus on children, adolescents, or families.
  • Strong diagnostic skills, with the ability to perform assessments and create effective treatment plans.
  • Exceptional communication, relational, and organizational skills, with a respectful approach towards clients and their families.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a school setting or with student populations.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based interventions and therapeutic practices.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution strategies.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary structure with a range of USD 80,000 to 104,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to a generous salary, employees are entitled to:

  • Health insurance coverage, including medical, dental, and vision plans.
  • Retirement plans with employer matching contributions to support your future financial security.
  • Flexible work schedule options to help maintain work-life balance, accommodating evenings and weekends based on client needs.
  • Support for professional development, including reimbursement for relevant conferences, workshops, and training.
  • A sign-on bonus for qualified candidates, enhancing the overall compensation package.
