• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional well-being, using established therapeutic frameworks.
• Formulate and implement comprehensive treatment plans tailored to clients' individual needs and goals.
• Provide both individual therapy sessions and couples therapy, utilizing techniques designed to strengthen communication and resolve conflicts.
• Regularly review and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with clients to ensure they reflect ongoing progress and changes in needs.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment outcomes, adhering to ethical guidelines.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, engaging with other healthcare professionals to facilitate holistic client care.
• Facilitate crisis intervention when necessary, supporting clients in acute distress with empathy and professionalism.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and staying informed on the latest research in marriage and family therapy.
• Advocate for clients' rights and empower them in their treatment journey by providing the necessary resources and support.
• Foster a secure and confidential virtual therapy experience for all clients, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

You will be providing therapeutic services to a varied client base, including adolescents, adults, and couples. Your work will address issues ranging from relationship conflicts and emotional distress to mental health disorders such as anxiety and depression. This role is critical in fostering positive outcomes for clients by guiding them through challenges and supporting their personal growth and resilience.

• A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a closely related field is required.
• Current and active licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist through the State Board is essential.
• Proven experience in delivering both individual and couples therapy, demonstrating a strong understanding of therapeutic interventions.
• Competence in verbal and written communication, alongside the ability to effectively learn and utilize electronic health record systems.

• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in mental health settings.
• Experience in crisis intervention and emergency support.
• Familiarity with teletherapy tools and platforms that facilitate remote counseling services.
