Responsibilities
This position's principal function is to review the HOPE, initial, recertification and resumption plans of care (485) and supporting documentation in collaboration with the assessing clinician to ensure readiness for billing. This position provides operational support to the HH and HSP Performance Improvement Manager to complete audit activities, assure clinical documentation improvement is achieved, regulatory requirements and accreditation standards are met to protect the financial resources of the agency. This position works with clinical supervisors and billing managers/staff to support workflows impacting accuracy and timeliness of billing as it relates to HOPE, HUV assessments and physicians' plans of care.
Qualifications
Education
- Graduate from a recognized, accredited school of nursing Required
- Bachelor's Degree in nursing or health-related field Preferred
- 2 years of experience in nursing Required and
- 3 years of experience in Hospice either in direct patient care or supporting Hospice operations within the last five years. Total minimum experience required is five years. Required
- RN - Registered Nurse - Georgia State Licensure and/or NLC/eNCL Multistate Licensure
