What is a Remote Registered Nurse?

A Remote Registered Nurse is a licensed nursing professional who provides patient care, education, and support from a location outside of a traditional healthcare facility, typically through telehealth platforms or phone consultations. These nurses may work for hospitals, clinics, insurance companies, or telemedicine providers, performing tasks such as triage, case management, patient follow-ups, and health education. Remote nursing allows for flexible work arrangements while still upholding high standards of patient care, making healthcare more accessible to people in various locations.
