• Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments, including diagnostic evaluations to inform individualized treatment plans tailored to client needs.
• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based and culturally responsive therapeutic modalities.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation compliant with ethical, legal, and procedural standards, ensuring high-quality care and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
• Participate in regular clinical consultations, ongoing training sessions, and professional supervision, contributing to your own growth and that of the team.
• Act as an advocate for clients by navigating and interfacing with various systems such as healthcare, legal, and educational entities when required.
• Contribute actively to a workplace culture grounded in inclusion, respect, and continuous learning, promoting mutual support among staff.

Your work will primarily focus on clients facing complex end-of-life issues, including emotional distress, bereavement, and psychosocial challenges. You will engage with a diverse client population, including marginalized communities, which may involve working with BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, and immigrant/refugee populations. Your expertise will help clients and their families navigate the emotional landscape during challenging transitions, providing support and education tailored to their specific needs.

• Must hold an active and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of California in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, ideally in settings related to trauma-informed care or hospice.
• Strong foundational skills in diagnostic formulation and culturally competent practice, particularly in sensitive emotional contexts.
• Ability to leverage telehealth platforms and electronic medical records (EMRs), ensuring efficient client management and engagement.

• Experience working with diverse and marginalized populations, including low-income families and individuals facing systemic barriers.
• Familiarity with platforms such as SimplePractice and Zoom to effectively deliver telehealth services.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain a practice that is trauma-informed and culturally sensitive.
