Job description

Position Overview

Dynamic Living Mental Healthcare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team on a full-time basis. This remote position is uniquely situated within a hospice center, allowing you to provide holistic mental health support to patients and their families during some of their most challenging times. Your expertise will be pivotal in enhancing patient experiences and outcomes while ensuring they receive the compassionate care they deserve.

About the Organization

At Dynamic Living Mental Healthcare, we uphold a profound commitment to delivering exceptional mental health care services to our community. Our hospice center specializes in providing supportive and symptom management services for patients and families facing end-of-life issues. We also prioritize creating a nurturing workplace environment that fosters personal and professional growth for our employees. Our team consists of experienced and caring professionals who collaborate to ensure the highest standards of mental health care are met.

Work Environment

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will operate in a fully remote setting, allowing for flexible scheduling and work-life balance while still being an integral part of a dynamic team. Our hospice center is equipped with advanced technology to facilitate seamless communication and collaboration among staff and patients. You will engage in a supportive work culture centered around continuous improvement and shared best practices.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve a variety of responsibilities aimed at improving the mental well-being of patients. Specific duties include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to evaluate patient needs, which will inform individualized treatment plans.
  • Delivering psychotherapy through evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the unique circumstances of patients and families in hospice care.
  • Maintaining comprehensive clinical documentation that meets HIPAA standards, ensuring both compliance and quality of care.
  • Collaboration with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including physicians, psychologists, and clinical staff, to provide cohesive care and a multidisciplinary approach to patient treatment.
  • Engaging in regular case conferences to discuss patient progress, treatment efficacy, and plan modifications.
  • Providing education to patients and families regarding mental health considerations, coping strategies, and available community resources during end-of-life care.
  • Staying informed of emerging research and clinical practices in mental health to ensure evidence-based approaches are integrated into therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be primarily working with patients experiencing a range of complex emotional and psychological issues related to end-of-life circumstances. The focus will be on individuals and families needing support with grief, bereavement, caregiver stress, and overall mental health challenges associated with terminal illness. This unique patient population requires sensitivity, empathy, and specialized skills to effectively address their needs during this critical period.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
  • A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a clinical setting, specifically providing therapeutic services related to mental health.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of solution-oriented psychotherapy interventions and best practices.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, capable of fostering strong therapeutic alliances with patients.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-directed and proficient in managing a case load.
Preferred Experience

Experience working in hospice care, palliative care, or with terminally ill patients will be highly valued. Familiarity with tools and platforms used for telehealth services will also enhance candidate suitability, given the remote nature of this role.

Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Additionally, our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage to keep you and your family healthy.
  • Life and disability insurance, giving peace of mind for you and your loved ones.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage, ensuring you are well-protected in your professional role.
  • An employee assistance program, offering mental health support for you.
  • Access to unlimited referrals for a steady stream of patients, enabling you to focus on providing excellent care.
  • Minimal administrative paperwork, allowing you to dedicate more time to patient interaction.
