We are looking for a Senior Tax Accountant to join a fully remote advisory team serving real estate investors, syndicates, and fund managers. In this role, you will help clients navigate complex tax matters with practical guidance, timely follow-through, and clear communication they can apply with confidence. This position is ideal for a self-directed individual who values accountability, works effectively in an independent environment, and brings strong expertise in real estate taxation.


Responsibilities:

• Develop customized tax strategies for clients and refine those plans as circumstances, goals, or regulations change.

• Analyze intricate tax questions by interpreting applicable tax law and authoritative guidance, then translate findings into sound recommendations.

• Partner with tax preparation teams to align advisory plans with return preparation and support client communications throughout filing season.

• Maintain strict compliance with industry standards, ethical requirements, and confidentiality expectations in all client engagements.

• Serve as a knowledgeable resource on real estate tax matters, including transactions, entity structures, and related accounting considerations.

• Monitor legislative and regulatory developments to keep client guidance current and technically accurate.

• Contribute to internal initiatives that improve client service, operational effectiveness, proposal development, and team training efforts.

• Keep project records, client notes, and workflow details accurate and current within established management processes.

• Identify opportunities to introduce additional firm services that support client needs, such as bookkeeping or ongoing tax advisory support.
