Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental and emotional well-being, using structured interviews and assessment tools.
  • Assess clients’ needs, issues, and goals to create personalized treatment plans tailored to their individual circumstances.
  • Provide evidence-based therapy services in individual, couples, and family sessions, focusing on a diverse range of mental health concerns.
  • Regularly update and modify treatment plans in line with clients’ progress and evolving needs.
  • Maintain meticulous client records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and case histories, ensuring all documentation adheres to regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, contributing to coordinated care and ensuring clients receive comprehensive support.
  • Manage crisis situations with effective interventions to assist clients in acute distress.
  • Engage in continuous professional development, staying abreast of current research, best practices, and emerging modalities in therapy.
  • Ensure adherence to ethical guidelines and maintain strict confidentiality regarding client information.
  • Encourage and educate clients on self-care practices, supporting their journey towards emotional resilience.
Patient Population / Client Focus

At Red Oak Mental Healthcare, you will work with a diverse patient population, including individuals across various age groups—from children to seniors. You will engage with clients facing a Spectrum of issues including relationship difficulties, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Qualifications
  • Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field.
  • Active state licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist is required.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing individual and couples therapy, with a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques.
  • Competence in the timely documentation of client assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes.
  • Effective communication and writing skills, coupled with a willingness to learn and adapt to electronic health record software.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working with a varied clientele, including children, adolescents, and adults.
  • Previous remote therapy experience is an advantage, but not mandatory, as we provide training for effective virtual engagement.
