This role primarily focuses on a diverse patient population, including individuals from various age groups, cultural backgrounds, and mental health conditions. An understanding of unique challenges encountered by hospital patients is crucial for providing effective care. You will play a pivotal role in helping individuals navigate their mental health journeys, ensuring that they receive the empathy and support they need to thrive.

• An active Massachusetts state license as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related mental health field is required.
• Strong understanding of the diverse mental health issues prevalent among our patient population, combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills to connect effectively with patients.
• Proficiency in evidence-based practices and experience with brief therapy models suitable for an outpatient counseling center environment.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting while managing a diverse caseload and prioritizing tasks strategically.

• A minimum of two years of experience providing mental health counseling in an outpatient or hospital setting is preferred, showcasing your ability to handle various patient needs.
• Experience in leading therapy groups or workshops aimed at enhancing patient well-being is advantageous.
