The Brightside Therapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our dynamic team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop customized treatment plans, addressing client needs in various therapeutic contexts.
• Manage documentation in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards to uphold the quality of care provided.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools as required by the clinical team to effectively evaluate and monitor client progress.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavioral support plans that align with client goals.
• Actively participate in licensing and accreditation processes to ensure our services meet the highest professional standards.
• Serve as a key liaison between clients and relevant service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to facilitate comprehensive care and resource support.
• Uphold open communication with clients and team members to enhance service delivery, promote accountability, and strengthen community relationships.
• Identify and foster partnerships with local and state agencies to expand service offerings and secure potential funding sources for program growth.
• Engage in professional development opportunities such as attending conferences, leading workshops, and participating in state-wide meetings, contributing your expertise to broader discussions on mental health trends.
• Support and embody the mission and values of Brightside Therapy Center in all client interactions and community engagements.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director to promote organizational objectives.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals facing emotional distress, behavioral challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental and cognitive disabilities. Your expertise will be crucial in facilitating their recovery journeys, utilizing tailored therapy techniques to address their specific needs and goals.

• A Master’s Degree in a behavioral health field is a mandatory requirement for this position.
• An Independent LMHC License issued by the state board is essential for practice.
• Proven ability to maintain accurate and clinical records, preparing comprehensive reports as required.
• Strong teamwork skills, particularly in working within interdisciplinary settings, ensuring collaboration across various therapy approaches.
• Effective communication skills to articulate ideas and feedback beneficially for client and team growth.
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills that rely on professional knowledge and adhere to ethical standards.

• Prior experience in outpatient therapy, particularly within a remote capacity, is highly desirable.
• Experience working with diverse populations, including those with complex needs related to mental health and substance use recovery.
• Background in crisis intervention and the ability to manage high-pressure situations effectively.
