Job description

Ilir Sela started Slice with the belief that local pizzerias deserve all of the advantages of major franchises without compromising their independence. Starting with his family's pizzerias, we now empower over tens of thousands of restaurants with the technology, services, and collective power that owners need to better serve their digitally minded customers and build lasting businesses. We're growing and adding more talent to help fulfill this valuable mission. That's where you come in.

The Challenge to Solve

Slice is investing in the platform capabilities that help our products, teams and operations scale. As a Senior Product Manager for Core, you will define and deliver foundational capabilities that multiple teams and products rely on every day. Some of these systems already exist and need to scale; others will be built from the ground up as we rethink how operational workflows should evolve in an AI-enabled environment.

We solve operational and platform challenges across operations, payments, data, support and internal product ecosystems.

The Role

In this role, you'll shape the internal tools and platform capabilities that power day-to-day operations across support, payments, and operational teams. You'll identify workflow inefficiencies, prioritize opportunities, and partner with Development and Product Design to deliver intuitive products and scalable platform capabilities.

You'll work across both existing systems that need to scale and new capabilities that need to be built from the ground up. The role requires strong systems thinking, comfort navigating ambiguity, and a practical approach to applying AI and automation to simplify workflows, reduce manual effort, and improve operational efficiency.

The Team

The individuals you'll collaborate with are curious, motivated, and exceptionally proficient in their respective domains. They welcome challenging tasks and thrive on resolving them within an empowered and supportive setting. Our fully remote team brings together talented people from across the US, Canada, UK and Eastern Europe, each contributing unique perspectives and expertise to drive success.

The Winning Recipe

We're looking for a senior product manager who brings:

  • 5+ years of product management experience building and scaling operational platforms and internal tools.
  • Strong systems thinking and product judgment, with the ability to turn ambiguous problems into clear strategy, make difficult trade-offs, and drive execution.
  • Data-informed approach to product development, using product and operational data to validate ideas, guide decisions, and measure impact.
  • Strong understanding of and interest in applying AI and automation to simplify workflows, reduce operational friction, and improve team effectiveness at scale.
  • Experience translating user and operational needs into intuitive product experiences.
  • Proven ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with engineers, designers, product managers, and other cross-functional partners.
  • Excellent written and asynchronous communication skills for remote collaboration.
  • Familiarity with the pizza or restaurant industry is a plus.

This position is open to applicants based in Canada in the Ontario province.

The Extras

Working at Slice comes with a comprehensive set of benefits, but here are some of the highlights:

  • Access to medical, dental, and vision plans
  • Flexible working hours
  • Generous time off policies
  • Annual conference attendance and training/development budget
  • Market-leading maternity and paternity schemes
  • Discounts for local pizzerias (of course)

The Hiring Process

This process is expected to take 1–3 weeks in total.
