Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess the intensity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to each client's unique circumstances and preferences.
• Monitor client progress, regularly reassessing treatment plans and making necessary adjustments to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and best self-care practices to foster empowerment and improve overall mental health.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated and holistic client care.
• Stay abreast of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments to continuously enhance therapeutic techniques and strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Engage in case consultations, participate actively in team meetings, and pursue ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• A valid, active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
