Location: McKinney, Texas (Remote)
Role Overview
A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Senior Front-End / Mobile Developer with deep expertise in React Native and ReactJS to join a high-performing product delivery team. This role is responsible for building and evolving scalable, high-quality web and mobile applications in a regulated healthcare environment. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on engineering skills, practical architecture experience, and a quality-first mindset. You will partner closely with product, UX/UI, QA, and backend engineering teams to deliver reliable and performant experiences across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain high-quality web and mobile applications using React Native and ReactJS.
  • Own end-to-end delivery of complex UI features with a focus on performance, reliability, usability, and accessibility.
  • Contribute to the design and implementation of scalable application architecture across mobile and web.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code, and establish engineering best practices.
  • Lead and participate in code reviews to ensure consistency and maintainability.
  • Partner with backend engineers to define API contracts, data models, and integration strategies.
  • Optimize React Native applications for iOS and Android, considering factors like offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
  • Collaborate daily with Product, UX/UI, QA, and engineering stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Mentor and support other developers through pairing, feedback, and technical guidance, with the potential to grow into an Engineering Lead role.
Required Qualifications
  • 5+ years of professional experience in web and/or mobile application development.
  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building production applications with React Native and ReactJS, with a stronger emphasis on React Native preferred.
  • Proficiency with JavaScript/TypeScript, modern React patterns, and state management.
  • Experience building applications that consume RESTful JSON APIs.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver within distributed teams and communicate effectively.
  • Debugging and troubleshooting skills across the UI stack.
  • Experience with Git-based workflows and CI/CD collaboration.
  • A portfolio or GitHub examples of previous work are required for submission.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to C#/.NET for collaborating on API contracts or debugging services.
  • Experience with component libraries, design systems, and accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG).
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, Playwright, or Detox.
  • Experience with micro-frontend patterns (MFE) or monorepos.
  • Experience with GraphQL in addition to REST.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and instrumentation tools.
  • Experience using AI-assisted development tools.
  • Healthcare domain experience is a plus.
