About the Position
We are searching for a Mid-Level Electrical Engineer to join our growing Professional Design Services team. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of related MEP design engineering experience and will take a leadership role in the design and analysis of electrical systems. In this position, you will mentor junior-level MEP engineers while supporting proposal efforts and working on diverse projects across multiple markets and geographies. This opportunity will allow you to broaden your knowledge and deepen your skill set in building systems design. You will be responsible for efficiently navigating through various design stages, from concept plans to construction documentation. This role can be based in one of our Pond offices or as a remote employee, providing flexibility in your work location. This role offers a great opportunity for career growth while working on a variety of impactful electrical engineering projects.

Experience and Qualifications

  • BS in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of related MEP experience
  • Proficiency with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM
  • Federal Project experience will have special consideration
  • Experience mentoring and training employees
  • Proven experience leading projects, supporting proposal efforts, and interfacing with clients
  • PE license is a strong plus; EIT certification preferred with plans on obtaining a PE license in the near future
  • Ability to work well within a team environment, demonstrating a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a proactive approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to multitask and produce high-quality work
