Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Team. As a remote position, this role provides flexibility while still maintaining an inclusive and supportive team environment. You will connect with colleagues through virtual platforms, participate in telehealth sessions, and engage in team meetings remotely. The outpatient setting allows you to work with a wide range of patients, providing you the opportunity to directly influence and improve their mental health outcomes within a community-focused context.

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify individual needs and challenges faced by children and adolescents.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate best practices and evidence-based methodologies, taking into account developmental milestones and family dynamics.
• Deliver various therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, group sessions, and family therapy, aimed at addressing complex mental health issues.
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and allied health professionals to provide integrated care, ensuring all aspects of a patient's treatment are aligned.
• Offer crisis intervention services during emergencies, providing immediate support and guidance to young individuals and their families.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, coping strategies, and community resources to foster understanding and empowerment.
• Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and confidentiality standards through meticulous documentation using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Participate actively in team consultations, case discussions, and continuing education opportunities to enhance professional skills and stay updated with industry advancements.
• Foster a positive, nurturing environment that encourages open communication and trust with patients and their families.

This position focuses primarily on children and adolescents grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. You will engage with diverse individuals, offering tailored therapeutic solutions to assist them in managing their mental health in a supportive and understanding manner. Your efforts will contribute directly to improving their well-being, emotional resilience, and overall quality of life.

• A Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
• Strong understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders along with proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience providing individual and family therapy to youth in a clinical setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to empathize and build rapport with children, adolescents, and their families.
• Proficiency in EHR software and a willingness to adapt to new technology as needed.
• A collaborative spirit and a strong desire to contribute positively to a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience working in child and adolescent mental health settings.
• Knowledge of family dynamics and how they relate to mental health issues.
• Demonstrated ability to plan and facilitate therapeutic group sessions.
• Prior exposure to crisis intervention protocols and crisis management.
