POSITION SPECIFICS

Postdoctoral Scholar - Condensed Matter Experiment - Terrones Lab

The Eberly College of Science, Department of Physics at The Pennsylvania State University is seeking to fill one Postdoctoral Researcher position in the area of Raman and Photoluminescence spectroscopy. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work onthe synthesis and spectroscopic characterization of two-dimensional materials that include graphene, borono notride and transition metal dichalcogenides. Vast expertise is needed in Resonant Raman spectroscopy and Photoluminescence spectroscopy at high and low temperatures.

Requirements include a Ph.D. in Physics, and the ideal candidate should have experience with experimental condensed matter physics. Applications must be submitted electronically and include a cover letter, CV and statement of research interests.
