Job description

Job Description: 

Our client is a Louisville/Metro certified structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication and erection shop is seeking an experienced, detail-oriented structural steel detailer to work on detailing projects such as stairs, railings, and miscellaneous structural steel.

General Responsibilities:

  • Able to work independently with the ability to collaborate with other employees
  • Attend weekly meetings
  • Able to create and modify drawings using Tekla, Solid Works, SDS-2, or 3D CAD experience on any software
  • Strong communication in oral and written skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Organized with strong time management skills
  • Other duties specific to the position

Qualifications: 

  • Must be experienced preparing shop drawings from architectural and structural project drawings.
  • Experience in Tekla, Solid Works, SDS-2, or 3D CAD experience on any software.
  • 2 to 5 years of experience.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Louisville, KY. 
  • This is an in-house position that may allow some remote work within one year.
