Since its inception in 1954, Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) has been a cornerstone of healthcare in Central Texas. With a network of 17 state-of-the-art outpatient imaging centers and collaborations with 24 area hospitals, we're at the forefront of medical imaging in the region. Our partnership with Radiology Partners in 2019 has further enhanced our capabilities in AI technology, expanded our scale, and integrated us into a comprehensive national infrastructure.

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Serve as a key responsible person in the management of the PCC staff. Serves as the initial contact for department-specific issues. 
  • Maintain a current understanding of clinic operations and procedures.
  • In collaboration with the Patient Access Director, conduct personnel activities to include hiring, training, evaluating, disciplinary actions, and other personnel actions as required.  
  • Makes necessary changes in staffing based on day of week, clinical load, other anticipated events. 
  • Monitors productivity of patient service representatives and generates reports.  
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Minimum of three years demonstrated proficiency in Scheduling, Eligibility and or Prior Authorization may be required.  
  • Three years of supervisory experience in a healthcare environment or multi-team customer contact center environment. Experience working remote/hybrid, preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively in a largely unsupervised role in this position is essential 
  • Knowledge of electronic health records systems, call recording and screen capture software and standard metrics for call center performance management 
  • Highly motivated with great organizational skills
