Job description

Austin Radiological Association (ARA Diagnostic Imaging) is seeking a skilled and motivated General Pediatric Body Radiologist to join their close-knit section of pediatric radiologists in Austin, TX. This full-time position offers excellent compensation, a strong emphasis on work-life balance, and a 2-year partnership track. The role involves providing specialized pediatric imaging, diagnostic interpretation, and interventional procedures at Dell Children's Medical Center and other pediatric facilities.

Practice Info

  • Close-knit section consisting of 5 other pediatric radiologists in a collegial and supportive environment
  • Over 90% pediatric cases, minimal adult general body responsibilities
  • Subspecialist support for IR procedures, neuroradiology, and musculoskeletal MRI
  • Section based out of Dell Children's Medical Center, a 248-bed freestanding pediatric facility serving a 46-county area and beyond
  • Dell Children's Medical Center houses the region's only level I pediatric trauma center and Level IV NICU
  • Practice features 24/7 support staff, robust IT infrastructure, and a collegial working environment

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized pediatric imaging, diagnostic interpretation, and cutting-edge interventional procedures
  • Comfortable with general body radiology
  • Primary teaching faculty for the UT Dell Medical School radiology residency program
