The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst with deep UKG Pro-suite expertise to support the configuration, optimization, and ongoing administration of our UKG environment. This personย  will play a critical role in ensuring system accuracy, scalability, and operational efficiency across HR, Payroll, Finance, and IT.

This role is highly hands-on and will focus on system configuration, business rules, reporting, integrations, data audits, and issue resolution, while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes and leverage new UKG functionality.

Your Primary Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a HRIS Analyst to join our team and add value in the following areas:

  • Configure, maintain, and optimize UKG Pro to support organizational needs.
  • Configure and maintain business rules, workflows, security roles, organizational structures, job codes, locations, compensation structures, and state/local tax updates.
  • Maintain UKG landing pages for employees, managers, and administrators.
  • Configure and support Document Management, People Assist, and employee self-service functionality.
  • Configure and support annual Open Enrollment, benefit life events, testing, and troubleshooting.
  • Maintain system documentation, configuration guides, and standard operating procedures.
  • Serve as the functional subject matter expert for UKG Pro and related HR technologies.
  • Research new UKG functionality and recommend enhancements that align with business priorities.
  • Participate in UKG user groups, product forums, and continuing education to stay informed on system capabilities and industry best practices. Review UKG release notes and assess potential business impacts.
  • Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy, consistency, compliance, and overall system integrity.
  • Identify data discrepancies and partner with stakeholders to resolve issues proactively.
  • Develop, maintain, and enhance reports, dashboards, and workforce analytics that support business decision-making. Ensure reporting processes are accurate, repeatable, and audit-ready.
  • Research, troubleshoot, and resolve system issues independently or in partnership with UKG Support.
  • Track recurring issues, identify root causes, and recommend long-term solutions.
  • Coordinate implementation activities for system upgrades and enhancements while minimizing business disruption.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot middleware, APIs, file feeds, and integrations supporting HR and payroll processes.
  • Support integrations with platforms including:
    • Identity and Access Management (Okta)
    • Active Directory
    • Timekeeping hardware
    • Employee recognition platforms (Nectar)
    • Other third-party HR technologies
  • Build strong partnerships with HR, Payroll, Finance, IT and Talent Acquisition. Consult with stakeholders to understand reporting needs, operational challenges, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Translate business requirements into scalable HR technology solutions while maintaining system integrity and governance.
  • Provide recommendations and best practices based on UKG functionality and prior experience.
  • Support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to HR systems and employee data.
  • Employee has an individual responsibility for knowledge of and compliance with laws, regulations, and policies.

  • Maintain HIPAA/patient confidentiality
  • Regular and reliable attendance as assigned by your schedule
  • Provide backup support for payroll processing during planned absences or business continuity situations.
  • Participate in audits and provide system documentation and reporting as needed.

  • Experience supporting open enrollment, payroll-adjacent processes, and timekeeping systems
  • Strong understanding of HR data structures, compliance considerations, and reporting logic
  • Proven ability to manage high ticket volume while maintaining accuracy and responsiveness
  • Experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, Finance, and Payroll teams
