Position Summary
Join one of the nation's premier radiology practices in one of the most desirable cities in the country.
Austin Radiological Association (ARA), a Radiology Partners affiliate, is seeking a Remote General/Body Radiologist to join a nationally respected, high-volume practice. This is a rare opportunity to practice 100% remote radiology while maintaining strong clinical quality, flexibility, and work-life balance.
This role offers full flexibility in scheduling-choose to workdays, evenings, or weekends based on your lifestyle and preferences. A low shift RVU minimum allows a pay-per-click productivity model to quickly become highly rewarding, while robust IT infrastructure ensures seamless remote workflow.
You will interpret a broad range of general body imaging studies, including CT, ultrasound, and X-ray, delivering timely and accurate reads that directly support high-quality patient care.
With a 72-year legacy of excellence, ARA is one of the largest and most established radiology groups in the country, with 118 subspecialized radiologists serving hospitals and outpatient imaging centers across Central Texas. The group is consistently recognized nationally for innovation, physician leadership, and outstanding patient care.
In partnership with Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin, ARA is helping redefine how diagnostic imaging is designed, delivered, and leveraged to improve patient outcomes. Our mission is simple: To Transform Radiology.
Why This Role Stands Out
This is a true lifestyle-forward radiology opportunity with the backing of one of the most established radiology groups in the country.
  • 100% remote practice - eliminate commuting entirely
  • Flexible scheduling - work when it fits your life (days, nights, or weekends)
  • Optional weekend shifts available for additional income
  • Low minimum RVU threshold with strong pay-per-click upside
  • Unified workflow with one PACS, standardized protocols, and dictation system
  • Dedicated IT support ensuring smooth, efficient remote operations
  • High-volume, high-quality practice with strong subspecialty support
  • Opportunity to join a nationally recognized, physician-led organization

The Opportunity
You will be part of a dynamic, collaborative radiology team supporting a broad clinical footprint across Central Texas and beyond.
  • Interpret general body imaging: CT, ultrasound, and X-ray
  • Provide accurate, timely diagnostic reads to support patient care
  • Work within a streamlined, standardized remote reading environment
  • Collaborate with a strong team of radiologists across subspecialties
  • Contribute to a high-efficiency, high-quality imaging operation
  • Enjoy full flexibility in structuring your clinical workload

About ARA & Dell Medical School Partnership:
ARA and Dell Medical School at The University of Texas at Austin are working together to help redefine how diagnostic imaging is designed, delivered, and leveraged to improve patient health.
Currently, ARA serves 24 hospitals and operates 17 outpatient imaging centers, with expansion plans underway to grow to 19 outpatient imaging centers by the end of 2026. ARA is committed to innovation and transforming how radiologists deliver exceptional care to hospitals, imaging centers, referring physicians, and patients.
This opportunity is ideal if you're looking for:
  • A true 100% remote radiology role with no commuting
  • Maximum schedule flexibility and lifestyle control
  • A modern pay model with strong productivity-based earning potential
  • Reduced administrative burden and streamlined IT systems
  • A stable, well-established national practice with strong support
  • A role that balances clinical excellence with personal freedom
  • Optional weekend work for increased income (not required)

This is an ideal fit for radiologists seeking autonomy, flexibility, and a sustainable long-term remote practice model without sacrificing quality, volume, or compensation potential.
Compensation & Benefits
  • Base Salary: $400,000-$650,000
  • Comprehensive benefits include:
  • Health, life, disability & malpractice insurance
  • CME and healthcare reimbursement
  • 401(k) with employer support
