Job description

Our organization is actively looking for a dedicated Diagnostic Radiologist to join our team on a weekend-only basis within the Department of Radiology.

This position is structured and ongoing, focusing on delivering exceptional body imaging and emergency radiology services during weekends. The role is seamlessly integrated into our department, providing stable scheduling, robust clinical support, and attractive compensation.

Position Highlights:
  • Defined weekend schedule (Friday to Sunday) with consistent coverage
  • Expected productivity: around 400 – 450 wRVUs each weekend
  • Opportunity to engage in a prominent academic medical center with Level 1 trauma services
  • Collaborative environment with access to subspecialty support
  • Option for remote work
Qualifications:
  • MD or DO degree required
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Preferred fellowship training in Body Imaging, ER/Trauma Radiology, or a related specialty
  • Possession of a California medical license

Compensation & Benefits:

The starting base compensation for this role ranges from $600,000 to $650,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the department's compensation policies. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
