Job description

Job Responsibilities The adjunct faculty member will provide clinical instruction for the Limited Radiology program working closely with students to ensure they gain the clinical competencies and hands-on experience required for eligibility to sit for the ARRT certification examination. The successful candidate must demonstrate proficiency in performing diagnostic radiographic, fluoroscopic, and mobile imaging procedures while serving as a clinical mentor and role model. This position requires a commitment to fostering student learning, professionalism, and safe patient care practices in a clinical environment.

In addition to clinical instruction, the adjunct faculty member will assist with coordinating and scheduling student clinical rotations each semester to ensure appropriate educational experiences. The individual will contribute to the assessment and documentation of student learning outcomes related to clinical education and collaborate with program faculty in a team-teaching approach to patient care instruction throughout the curriculum. The successful candidate will actively support the program's mission by promoting student success, maintaining strong clinical partnerships, and participating in continuous program improvement.

This position will be located at the Midlands Technical College Airport Campus. Minimum and Additional Requirements Associate degree in Radiologic Technology Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or equivalent credential. Current certification by the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association (SCRQSA), or eligibility to obtain certification as required by state regulations.

Minimum of two (2) years of recent clinical experience in diagnostic radiologic technology. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree.
