Job description

We areย seekingย a highly experiencedย Mixed-Signalย IC Designย Leaderย to join our growing team. In this role, you willย be the technical lead in theย design and development ofย cutting-edgeย mixed-signal ICs.ย You will be involved in the technical aspects of the IC design and development, from concept through to production. This is a hands-on technical position that requires in-depth technicalย expertise, and the ability to work in a team of highly experienced engineers toย accomplishingย the goals.ย 

Key Responsibilities:ย 

  • Design and development of mixed-signal ICs for cutting edge AI and Cloud Computing systemsย 
  • Ownership of the full design cycle, including architecture definition, block-level design, simulation, verification, layout and evaluationย 
  • Drive high-speed interconnect design, including PAM4 SerDes >112Gbps in bulk CMOS andย FinFETย 
  • Design and optimization ofย Fractional-N synthesizers, multi-phase clock generation, and analog building blocks (e.g., Charge Pumps, Power Control)ย 
  • Implement and verify high-speed interconnects, Equalizers (CTLE/FFE/DFE, sample/hold), and other key componentsย 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensureย timelyย project execution and design tape-outsย 
  • Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mixed-signal IC design and apply them to improve project outcomesย 
  • Occasional travel to the Bay Area (<10%)ย for remote positionย 

Qualifications:ย 

  • 10+ years of hands-on experience in CMOS Mixed-Signal IC Designย 
  • Provenย expertiseย in designing high-speed interconnects, Fractional-N synthesizers, PAM4 SerDes (>112Gbps), Equalizers, and multi-phase clock generationย 
  • Strong background in analog and digital mixed-signal design, including charge pumps, power control, and other analog building blocksย 
  • Strong communication, leadership, and project management skillsย 

Education:ย 

  • Master's Degree (MEng) in Electrical Engineering or related field isย requiredย 
  • A Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computerย Engineeringย or a related field is preferredย 

Preferredย Skills:ย 

  • Experience with bulk CMOS andย FinFETย technologies.ย 
  • Ability to drive innovation and implementย new designย methodologies.ย 
  • Experience working in fast-paced environments with a strongย track recordย of delivering high-quality designs on time.ย
