Guided Minds Counseling Services is seeking an experienced and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our dedicated team. • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine clients’ mental health status during initial consultations.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans based on the assessment findings and client goals.
• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client's unique needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and support, applying effective coping strategies to help clients navigate challenging situations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress in electronic health record (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Facilitate referrals and collaborate with other healthcare providers when necessary, creating a comprehensive support network for clients.
• Engage in continuous professional development, attend workshops, and stay updated with the latest mental health best practices.

In this role, you will interact with a diverse client population, including adults, adolescents, and families experiencing various mental health challenges. Your work will directly address issues such as anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, relationship problems, and substance use. You will be expected to apply culturally sensitive practices, understanding how factors such as identity, race, and socio-economic status influence clients’ mental health.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of four years of post-graduate clinical experience in mental health counseling.
• Strong understanding of various mental health disorders and the application of evidence-based treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems and related technology for documentation and case management.
• Commitment to ethical practice, maintaining confidentiality, and building rapport with clients across diverse backgrounds.

• Experience working in a community health setting providing services to underserved populations.
• Proven track record in facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Expertise in crisis intervention techniques and management.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and remote counseling best practices.
