This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven sales leader who enjoys identifying new market opportunities, managing key accounts, and collaborating with engineering, operations, quality, and customer service teams to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve annual revenue, profitability, and market share objectives.
  • Identify, prospect, and secure new business opportunities within industrial manufacturing, OEM, and distribution markets.
  • Expand existing customer relationships while developing new strategic accounts across targeted industries.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle, including prospecting, qualification, quoting, negotiations, contract management, and account growth.
  • Lead and manage a network of independent sales representatives, providing guidance, performance management, and sales support.
  • Conduct customer visits, technical presentations, facility tours, and business reviews to strengthen customer relationships.
  • Collaborate with Engineering to identify new product opportunities and develop solutions that meet customer requirements.
  • Partner with Operations to align production capacity with customer demand and delivery expectations.
  • Work closely with Quality to resolve customer concerns, support corrective actions, and maintain customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare pricing proposals, quotations, and commercial agreements while supporting company profitability objectives.
  • Develop annual sales forecasts, budgets, and pipeline reports to support strategic planning.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging business opportunities.
  • Represent the company at industry trade shows, customer meetings, networking events, and industry associations.
  • Maintain accurate customer records, sales activities, forecasting, and opportunity tracking within CRM and ERP systems.
  • Support new product launches, continuous improvement initiatives, and long-term business growth strategies.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related discipline preferred. Equivalent industry experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 10 years of industrial manufacturing sales experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling industrial components, bearings, machined components, metal stampings, precision components, assemblies, or related engineered products.
  • Proven track record of generating new business, increasing revenue, and growing strategic customer accounts.
  • Experience selling to OEMs, industrial manufacturers, distributors, and engineered product markets.
  • Experience managing independent manufacturers' representatives or external sales organizations.
  • Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and account management skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Experience utilizing CRM and ERP systems for pipeline management, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with executive-level decision makers.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience within precision manufacturing, metal fabrication, bearings, machining, stampings, or industrial component manufacturing.
  • Existing relationships with OEMs, distributors, and industrial manufacturers throughout North America.
  • Experience developing strategic pricing initiatives and improving gross margins.
  • Background supporting custom manufacturing, engineered products, or contract manufacturing environments.
  • Experience identifying and expanding into new industrial markets.
  • Leadership experience mentoring sales professionals or managing regional sales organizations.
Performance Expectations:

Success in this position will be measured by the ability to:

  • Achieve or exceed annual sales growth objectives.
  • Secure 3 to 5 new customer accounts annually, based on market conditions and business objectives.

  • Deliver accurate monthly sales forecasts and pipeline reporting.
  • Strengthen customer retention while expanding market share.
  • Support long-term business growth through strategic customer development and market expansion.
