This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Accounts Receivable & Revenue Operations Specialist based in Netherlands.

This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of critical revenue operations within a fast-paced, remote startup environment.
You will manage the revenue cycle end-to-end, ensuring accuracy and efficiency from quoting through collections.
The position combines accounts receivable expertise with systems optimization, reporting, automation, and process improvement.
You will work closely with accounting, sales, and customers to resolve billing issues and maintain strong financial operations.
Your ability to identify discrepancies, improve workflows, and strengthen financial controls will directly support business growth.
The role is ideal for a proactive finance professional who enjoys autonomy, problem-solving, and evolving priorities.

Accountabilities
  • Lead end-to-end revenue operations, covering quote generation, invoicing, reconciliation, receivables tracking, and timely collections.
  • Review invoices and billing information against order forms, investigate discrepancies, and coordinate resolutions with sales teams and customers.
  • Respond to customer and sales inquiries regarding invoices, billing issues, and payment status while taking ownership of the collections process.
  • Support accurate revenue reporting by collaborating with accounting teams and reviewing SQL query outputs for accuracy and consistency.
  • Manage and optimize financial systems such as QuickBooks Online and Stripe, including system upgrades, automation initiatives, and workflow improvements.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline revenue processes, strengthen operational controls, and improve the overall quote-to-cash cycle.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with customers and internal stakeholders regarding billing, collections, and financial matters.
  • Work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with accounting, sales, and other operational teams.
Requirements
  • 2+ years of accounting experience within U.S.-based companies, with a strong focus on Accounts Receivable and Revenue Operations.
  • Demonstrated experience managing the complete revenue cycle from quote to cash.
  • Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Stripe, with the ability to review SQL query outputs and identify potential inaccuracies.
  • Strong reconciliation and problem-solving skills, including the confidence to challenge discrepancies and push back appropriately with customers or sales teams.
  • Experience implementing process improvements, system upgrades, and automation projects within accounting or revenue operations.
  • Familiarity with startup accounting environments and the ability to adapt effectively to changing priorities.
  • Experience with tools such as Slack, Google Drive, Google Sheets, Mercury, Chase, Ramp, Brex, Bill.com, or ClickUp is a plus.
  • Professional fluency in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and trustworthy, with a strong sense of ownership and integrity.
  • Comfortable working independently while also contributing effectively within a collaborative team.
  • Coachable and eager to continuously improve processes, systems, and professional capabilities.
  • General awareness of how AI is being applied to accounting and operational workflows is an advantage.
