About the Role

This is a people-manager role with oversight of U4B Mid-Market Growth Account Executives. The ideal candidate has a successful track record in Mid-Market Sales, preferably with a focus on closing large and complex deals. We're looking for someone who is customer-obsessed, data-driven and a self-starter.

You'll succeed in this role if: you embrace rolling up your sleeves with your team; you enjoy finding the balance between short-term needs and long-term investments; your working style is collaborative, process-driven, and quantitative.

What You Will Do

  • Recruit, manage, and mentor a sales team responsible for growing Mid-Market clients on the U4B platform, focusing on upsell and cross-sell motions
  • Establish a customer-obsessed sales organization, while developing and operationalizing go-to-market strategy to achieve revenue goals
  • Quarterback C-level meetings with Mid-Market clients along with your Account Executives, actively listen to understand business objectives and challenges, and recommend solutions
  • Manage and report accurate forecast and pipeline, own & achieve sales goals on a quarterly basis, and mentor Growth Account Executives on strategies to reach their goals
  • Partner efficiently with Operations, Product, Engineering, and Marketing teams

  • Minimum of 5 years of Sales experience
  • 1+ years of Sales Leadership experience


---- Preferred Qualifications ----

  • 7+ years of Sales experience
  • Sales Leadership experience hiring and coaching a sales teams selling into large enterprises
  • Successful previous track record as an Account Executive, with experience cross-selling and upselling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as stakeholder management, and data analysis 
  • Experience with Salesforce, Gong, ZoomInfo; ability to leverage CRM data to identify opportunities
  • Excellent at building and motivating strong performing teams
  • Highly curious and a quick learner
  • Owner and take-charge mentality

For Chicago, IL-based roles: The total on-target earnings (OTE) range for this position is USD $187,143 - USD $207,143. The OTE includes a base salary range of USD $131,000 per year - USD $145,000 per year and an annualized cash variable incentive target of USD $56,143 - USD $62,143.

The cash variable incentive target is based on individual sales performance and its payment is based on the terms of the Sales Incentive Plan.


An equity award and other forms of compensation may be included in the offer. You will also be eligible for various benefits.
