Job description

At Cadence, we hire and develop leaders and innovators who want to make an impact on the world of technology.

Locations: remote role but must be currently located in the US.

This role will provide strategic leadership at the intersection of quantum, photonics, and electronic design automation by engaging directly with customers to understand complex technical and business challenges, defining high-impact solutions using Cadence technologies, and shaping project scope, deliverables, and investment requirements. The individual will partner closely with services leadership and R&D to identify tool requirements, influence future development priorities, and drive execution across extended internal and customer-facing teams. In addition, this role will advance Cadence's quantronics capabilities by developing deep expertise in how Cadence platforms can be adapted to emerging technologies and by collaborating with R&D to accelerate tool, methodology, and solution innovation.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree with at least 16-25 years of design/EDA experience or Master's degree with at least 15 years of experience. Master's degree preferred.
  • Knowledge of quantum, superconducting and photonics technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of analog and RF EDA flows.
  • Good programming knowledge in Unix, Shell scripting, perl desired
  • Strong customer-facing communication and problem solving skills
  • Strong personal drive for continuous learning and expanding professional skill sets
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Familiar with EDA tool:

  • Simulators: Spectre, AMS, Xcelium
  • Implementation: Virtuoso; Innovus and APD (preferred but not required)
  • Analysis: Celsius, Clarity, Sigrity

The annual salary range for California is $157,500 to $292,500. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
