Title: Head of Quantitative Research / Senior Data Architect (Confidential โ€“ Manufacturing & AI Transformation)

Location: REMOTE EST or Mid-Atlantic Region

Salary Range: $170,000 โ€“ $250,000 Base Salary + Profit Sharing

About the Opportunity

A highly successful, third-generation manufacturing organization in the Mid-Atlantic region is seeking a Head of Quantitative Research / Senior Data Architect to help drive the next phase of enterprise growth and AI-enabled business transformation.

This organization manufactures and distributes products directly to both B2B and B2C markets and is aggressively investing in data, forecasting, AI, and operational intelligence to scale the business significantly over the next several years.


This role will work directly with ownership, finance leadership, and the Chief AI Architect to develop advanced forecasting models, pricing strategies, operational analytics, customer acquisition models, and AI-driven business insights that influence enterprise-wide strategy.


This is not a dashboard/reporting role. The organization is seeking a highly analytical business-minded quantitative leader capable of translating complex data into actionable executive decisions.

What Youโ€™ll Be Doing

โ€ข Build forecasting and financial modeling frameworks to support aggressive company growth initiatives

โ€ข Develop pricing, elasticity, and profitability models across multiple business lines

โ€ข Partner with executive leadership on strategic planning and operational optimization

โ€ข Create scalable data and analytics frameworks leveraging modern AI tooling

โ€ข Drive experimentation, causal inference, and advanced analytics initiatives

โ€ข Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, engineering, and leadership teams

โ€ข Help establish the long-term analytical and AI-enabled decision-making infrastructure of the organization

What Weโ€™re Looking For

โ€ข 8+ years of experience in quantitative research, data science, advanced analytics, or quantitative finance

โ€ข Expertise in Python, SQL, forecasting, experimentation, and statistical modeling

โ€ข Strong understanding of business strategy, financial modeling, and operational analytics

โ€ข Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with executives and ownership teams

โ€ข Experience in manufacturing, marketplaces, fintech, consumer technology, or high-growth operational environments is highly desirable
