Job description

Join our team as a GIS Analyst / Developer, where you’ll play a hands-on role in delivering innovative geospatial solutions that power modern utility systems. At ENTRUST Solutions Group, we’re proud to be an industry leader in engineering and consulting services—helping modernize, protect, and strengthen critical infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving complex data challenges, building scalable GIS systems, and seeing their work directly support critical field and engineering operations.

We’re seeking a GIS professional with strong experience in the Esri platform and Python development to support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise geospatial solutions. You’ll configure and deploy ArcGIS applications, including ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Online, while building efficient workflows for data collection, validation, and asset management using tools like ArcGIS Field Maps. Your expertise in spatial data conflation will be key as you align, reconcile, and integrate complex datasets across utility systems including electric, gas, and water infrastructure.

In addition to application development, you’ll play a critical role in automation and system integration by developing Python-based tools (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python) and ModelBuilder workflows to streamline data processing, QA/QC, and ETL processes. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams—such as engineers, project managers, and client stakeholders—to translate technical and business requirements into practical GIS solutions. Your experience with enterprise GIS architecture, utility data models, and platforms like ArcGIS Utility Network or Pipeline Referencing will help drive scalable and reliable system implementations.

This role is designated as remote, giving you the flexibility to primarily work from home while staying actively connected to your team and projects. We value collaboration and responsiveness, so we ask our remote team members to be available when in-office presence is needed—such as for client meetings, team events, or training sessions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of GIS development experience supporting utility or infrastructure programs.
  • Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, and geodatabase management.
  • Experience configuring and supporting ArcGIS Field Maps solutions.
  • Proficiency in Python scripting for geospatial workflows and automation.
  • Experience with spatial data conflation tools and methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of spatial data structures, versioning, and data governance.
  • Experience working with system integrations, APIs, and data exchange processes.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with utility data models such as PODS, UPDM, ArcGIS Utility Network, or Pipeline Referencing.
  • Familiarity with ETL processes and large-scale geospatial data transformation.
  • Experience supporting both office and field-based GIS deployments.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on data accuracy, consistency, and quality control.

What We Offer:

  • A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and flexible work schedules.
  • This position pays between $66,200 to $87,400 annually and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.
