Description:
  • We are seeking an experienced Senior Functional Analyst with deep expertise in core banking platforms, particularly Fiserv DNA, and a strong background in transaction processing.
  • The ideal candidate will play a critical role in analyzing business requirements, designing functional solutions, supporting implementation efforts, and collaborating with technical teams to enhance and optimize core banking operations.
Functional Analysis & Requirements Gathering
• Lead requirements elicitation sessions with business stakeholders across retail, commercial, and digital banking.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications and user stories.
• Perform gap analysis on existing Fiserv DNA capabilities and propose enhancements.
Fiserv DNA Core Banking Expertise
• Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) on Fiserv DNA modules, including:
o Account processing
o Loan servicing
o Deposit operations
o Customer information file (CIF)
o General ledger and reconciliation
• Configure DNA parameters, create test scenarios, and validate system functionality.
Transaction Processing & Operations
• Analyze and optimize end-to-end transaction flows across ACH, wire transfers, ATM/POS, mobile/online transactions, and batch processing.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to transaction posting, settlement, and exception handling.
• Work with payment networks, clearing systems, and banking middleware interfaces.
Project Delivery & System Enhancements
• Collaborate with developers, QA analysts, architects, and third-party vendors to deliver system improvements.
• Lead functional testing, UAT coordination, regression validation, and release support.
• Ensure solutions align with compliance requirements (AML, KYC, Reg E, Reg CC).
Documentation & Stakeholder Communication
• Develop functional design documents (FDDs), process flows, BRDs, and operating procedures.
• Provide training and support to operations teams and business users.
• Communicate project status, risks, and impacts clearly to leadership teams.
