Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to determine their mental health needs and develop individualized treatment plans that address their specific challenges.
• Deliver tailored individual therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic modalities and promote effective coping strategies.
• Document therapeutic sessions and treatment progress in compliance with organizational protocols and standards, ensuring accurate and confidential records.
• Participate actively in regular supervision meetings and case consultations, contributing to collective clinical insights and ongoing learning.
• Coordinate with external providers, community resources, and families to ensure holistic support for clients throughout their treatment journey.
• Engage in professional trainings to stay abreast of the latest practices in mental health therapy and community health initiatives.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Associate Mental Health Counselor, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, and various other mental health issues. Your ability to provide culturally responsive and trauma-informed care will be instrumental in establishing trust and rapport with clients, laying the groundwork for effective treatment and positive outcomes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related field is required.
• Active registration in Nevada as an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), Associate Social Worker (ASW), or a Counseling Intern (CPC-Intern).
• Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Organized, self-motivated, and committed to teamwork and collaboration.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of relevant clinical experience in a mental health setting is preferred.
• Familiarity with outpatient mental health services and the ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to various client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $50,000 to $70,000, depending on experience and qualifications.
