Are you a passionate and meticulous User Researcher eager to make a significant impact on the future of enterprise data solutions? We are looking for a dynamic individual to join a pivotal team, where your insights will directly shape the development and improvement of sophisticated data, analytics, and business intelligence products. In this role, you will be instrumental in uncovering the real-world needs and challenges of technical users, transforming complex data workflows into intuitive and powerful experiences. Your work will directly influence product strategy, ensuring that solutions truly resonate with and empower data professionals.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to dive deep into the world of advanced data intelligence and observability solutions. You will be a key player in executing comprehensive qualitative research, translating user behaviors and pain points into actionable insights that drive product innovation. Your contributions will help define the next generation of tools that empower data professionals to achieve more.
**Responsibilities:**
* Lead and support the planning and execution of qualitative research studies, including in-depth interviews, to understand user workflows, unmet needs, and experience gaps.
* Conduct and facilitate qualitative research efforts, including interview moderation, usability testing, and synthesis of open-ended feedback, to generate actionable insights about technical user needs and behaviors.
* Execute qualitative research using methods such as semi-structured interviews, contextual inquiry, and usability studies to uncover how data professionals work, identify areas of friction, and determine product requirements.
* Manage participant recruitment and scheduling, study logistics, note-taking, and other operational aspects essential for seamless research execution.
* Analyze and summarize research findings into clear, concise outputs such such as detailed notes, thematic analyses, presentations, and comprehensive summary reports.
* Maintain organized research documentation, repositories, and supporting materials to ensure insights are readily shareable and referenceable by the broader team.
* Provide essential support across multiple research projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables and timely execution in a fast-paced environment.
* Assist in identifying recurring patterns in user feedback and surfacing critical insights that directly inform product and design decisions.
* Support the team in conducting all research activities in strict compliance with privacy, consent, and other applicable requirements.

* Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
* Proven ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and support multiple research efforts concurrently.
* Demonstrated experience with core user research methods, including interviews, usability testing, surveys, and qualitative synthesis.
* Ability to document research findings clearly and produce well-structured, impactful research deliverables.
* Comfort working in technical product spaces or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn complex technical domains.
* Genuine interest in data, analytics, and technical user workflows.
* Candidates must have experience in end-to-end qualitative research within enterprise or technical product environments, not purely consumer-focused.
* Strong stakeholder communication and presentation skills.
* Demonstrated experience executing research operations.
