As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, your role will include:

• Conducting one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat, implementing therapeutic techniques to support clients in achieving their mental health goals.
• Facilitating discussions that help clients explore their emotions and experiences, thereby fostering personal insight and growth.
• Developing individualized treatment plans based on clinical assessment and the solution-focused approach.
• Advocating for clients during their treatment journey, assisting them in setting and visualizing practical goals.
• Regularly evaluating client progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.

Our clients are stable adults who have been carefully screened to ensure they are suitable for remote counseling. The focus is on individuals with low acuity issues, allowing therapists to work with clients who are motivated for growth but may require guidance in specific areas. Counselors are matched with clients according to their areas of expertise and demographic preferences, which facilitates a more productive therapeutic relationship.

To be considered for the Mental Health Counselor position, applicants must meet the following qualifications:

• Hold a Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possess an active, unrestricted license to practice independently in Arizona, such as LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to counseling.
• Demonstrate proficiency in technology and familiarity with online therapy platforms.

A minimum of two years of post-licensure counseling experience is required. Experience working with low acuity clients and familiarity with solution-focused techniques is highly desirable. Additionally, candidates should be comfortable engaging with a diverse client base and tailor their therapeutic approaches to meet varying cultural needs.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 104,000 annually, depending on hours worked and client load. We also offer a sign-on bonus and regular opportunities for professional development. Full-time counselors are eligible for a monthly healthcare stipend, and all payments are processed through weekly direct deposit, providing financial stability for our therapists.
