Quality Assurance Representative (Construction CM and QA) – DHS/ICE Federal Projects

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Quality Assurance Representative to support federal construction projects for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) / Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE). This position provides Construction Management (CM) and Quality Assurance (QA) support services for multidiscipline federal construction and renovation projects throughout the United States and U.S. territories.

The ideal candidate will possess extensive construction QA/QC experience, strong knowledge of federal construction practices, and expertise in implementing the 3-phase quality control process. The position requires independent work, frequent travel, and the ability to support projects under accelerated schedules.

Required Qualifications
  • 1015 years of construction QA/QC experience
  • Current OSHA Certification required
  • Current CQM (Construction Quality Management) Certification required
  • U.S. Citizen required
  • Ability to pass DHS/ICE security background investigation
  • Experience performing work directly related to construction projects
  • Experience interpreting construction plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Experience inspecting materials, workmanship, and safety compliance
  • Experience overseeing contractors, subcontractors, and construction personnel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Spanish language skills are a plus

  • Monitor contractor quality control activities to ensure compliance with project requirements
  • Implement and oversee the 3phase quality control process
  • Attend preparatory meetings, initialphase meetings, and followup inspections
  • Verify contractor preparation of meeting minutes and daily CQC reports
  • Ensure quality control procedures are properly documented and executed
