Job description

TMC Technologies is in search of a highly skilled and motivated Software Tableau Developer. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data visualization, business intelligence, and data analysis, with extensive experience using Tableau to create insightful and actionable dashboards and reports. The candidate must be a US citizen and possess a minimum of an active Secret clearance to start due to federal contract requirements.

This position is considered to be a remote position; however, staff may be required to support face-to-face meetings with the business line or end users. There is potential for face-to-face SAFe ceremonies on occasion. Key Responsibilities: • Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and understand their requirements and translate them into technical specifications. • Create and optimize data models, ensuring data integrity and accuracy. • Perform data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and insights that can be used to improve business performance.

• Implement best practices in data visualization to ensure dashboards are intuitive, user-friendly, and effectively communicate key insights. • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Tableau dashboards and reports. • Stay up to date with the latest Tableau features, updates, and industry trends to continuously improve the quality and effectiveness of visualizations.

• Provide training and support to end-users to help them effectively use Tableau dashboards and reports. • Work closely with IT and data engineering teams to ensure seamless data integration and availability. • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of best practices for Tableau development.

Job Requirements Active Secret Security clearance requried 5+ years' experience designing, developing, and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reports to support business analytics and decision-making processes required Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field. Proven experience as a Tableau Developer or in a similar role. Strong proficiency in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, and Tableau Online.

Solid understanding of SQL and experience with relational databases. Experience with data warehousing, ETL processes, and data integration. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.

Preferred experience: • Experience with other data visualization tools such as Power BI or QlikView. • Knowledge of programming languages such as Python or R. • Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
