Job description

Job Title : Python Developer

REMOTE (MUST be able to work EST hours: 7 AM- 4 PM EST)

4 Full Stack Developer  

Duration: 1 year contract to hire

Interview Process:

1 Video Conversation for 15 minutes

1 Video Interview with the Client “Meet the Team style” that is technical

Skillset:

  • Back-end Services in Python
    • Django experience desired
    • Our bottleneck is in Python/Django - we're really looking for back-end engineers who can flex to front-end
    • We would consider experienced Python/non-Django or Ruby/Rails candidates who can flex to build out on React, but demonstrable back-end experience is important
  • React for UIs
  • Comfortable with AWS (SNS, SQS, EKS)
  • Understands how to build systems which operate at scale
  • Comfortable deploying to production; interacting with build pipelines (e.g. CodeFresh), updating helm charts, terraform
  • Comfortable with technology like OpenSearch, ElasticSearch

Work:

  • Implementing features end-to-end; given product requirements and designs, build out new features on the Fab website
  • Building UIs in React
  • APIs in Python
  • Integrating with existing RESTful APIs and AWS services
