At Devoteam, we are looking for a DevSecOps professional specialized in Data and AWS to join a strategic project within a large organization, collaborating with Data, Architecture, Security and Development teams.

You will act as a technical reference for different teams, contributing to the evolution of the data platform while ensuring best practices in architecture, security, governance and observability.

100% remote working model from Spain, with a preference for candidates based in Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, Bilbao, or Zaragoza.

WHAT WILL YOU DO AT DEVOTEAM?

You will work as a DevSecOps professional within the Data ecosystem, contributing to the evolution and operation of data platforms and products in Cloud environments.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Acting as a technical point of contact for Data & Analytics, providing support and guidance on technical needs and incidents related to different use cases.
  • Analyzing and estimating new requirements, particularly those related to data platform components and data products.
  • Advising on the Data reference architecture and validating architectures proposed for new projects.
  • Collaborating on the definition and evolution of data platform components, ensuring alignment with corporate standards.
  • Supporting the definition of the architecture for new data products and use cases.
  • Advising technical teams on architecture, development, security and operational best practices.
  • Contributing to improvements in governance, security, documentation, observability and cost management across the data platform.
  • Participating in the technical assessment of new profiles and vendors, including interviews and candidate evaluations.
  • Maintaining and reviewing technical documentation related to the data architecture and platform.
Requisitos

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

  • More than 5 years of experience in IT and Data environments, particularly in roles related to DevSecOps, architecture or data platforms.
  • University degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications Engineering or a related technical field.
  • Strong knowledge of data architectures and Cloud environments, particularly AWS.
  • Experience with Python, SQL and databases, as well as Big Data technologies and ecosystems.
  • Knowledge of Cloud and Data security, including IAM, permissions and roles, access management, encryption, anonymization and data segregation.
  • Experience with automation, Infrastructure as Code, ETL/orchestration, monitoring and observability tools.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes and Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
  • Ability to act as a technical reference, advising different teams and aligning technology decisions with business needs.
  • B2-C1 level of English.

Experience with technologies such as Snowflake, DynamoDB, Spark, Hadoop, Airflow, Terraform, CloudFormation, Glue, OpenSearch/Elastic, Kibana, Denodo, Starburst or similar tools will be considered a plus.
