Job description

As an Architect - Development, you will be responsible for researching, designing, implementing, and managing software and data programs. You will serve as the technical expert, this role will identify and develop areas for modification in existing programs, as well as test and evaluate new programs. You will also collaborate with business partners and other technical teams across the organization to deliver proposed solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the evaluation, identification, development, and implementation of software solutions.
  • Define, document and record designs and modifications of application or software.
  • Locate and direct solutions for critical challenges involving software and hardware interface.
  • Identify and resolve failures within existing and newly developed software systems and programs.
  • Design real-time and batch system interfaces and data enrichment pipelines in a cloud-native data ecosystem.
  • Guide through all phases of software development life cycle (SDLC) and provide customer technical support solution analysis and design, balancing technical and business aspects.
  • Troubleshoot production issues of all levels and severities, tracks progress from identification through resolution and ensure best practices are followed.
  • Work with IT leadership and business partners to design features for the cloud platform.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree - Computer Science, Information Technology or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • 7 years experience in a lead development role.
  • 5+ years experience in common programming and data language, for example, JAVA, Python, SQL, .NET, API, or Data Base, etc.
  • Strong working knowledge of Azure Data Factory and Databricks.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Adept at conducting research into project-related issues.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • 9 years experience in a lead development role.
  • 5+ years experience in Cloud Solution.
  • Familiarity with NoSQL databases (such as CosmosDB).
  • Ability to multi-task and reprioritize in a dynamic environment.
