Job description

Title: Analytics Manager, Credit Cards

Location: Remote

Reports To: Head of Business Analytics

The Company:

Sunbit builds financial technology for real life. Our AI-native platform helps more people get to “yes” at the moments that matter with personalized offers, transparent terms, and no added consumer fees. In stores, practices and service centers across the country, Sunbit provides a fast, fair pay-over-time option. For everything else, the Sunbit Credit Card delivers a modern, no-fee credit experience managed in a powerful mobile app.

We are guided by people-centered values: Serve Others Before Self, Include Always, Connect Genuinely, Innovate for Good. These values shape how we build, how we support customers and merchants, and how we work with each other.

What makes Sunbit different is an AI-native infrastructure that runs through the full customer and merchant journey. Our interconnected AI systems power instant decisioning, streamline fraud checks with human-in-the-loop safeguards, and enable highly personalized offers at scale. The result is a quick, fair, and simple experience for consumers and merchants.

We pair this technology with inclusion and transparency. Sunbit delivers industry-leading approval rates — 90%+ in auto service and 85%+ in dental — while maintaining zero consumer fee-based revenue. It is a better way to serve people and merchants, proven at scale.

Today, Sunbit is available across a nationwide, in-person merchant network of 30,000+ locations spanning auto service centers, dental and optical practices, veterinary clinics, and other specialty services. We help teams say “yes” more often and help customers move forward with confidence.

The Role:

We're looking for a highly analytical, hands-on Analytics Manager to lead analytics for Sunbit's Credit Card portfolio. This is a high-impact individual contributor role that sits at the intersection of Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Fraud, Marketing, and Business Strategy.

Reporting directly to the Head of Analytics, you'll serve as the primary analytics partner for our Credit Card business—transforming complex data into actionable insights that influence product strategy, portfolio growth, risk management, and executive decision making.

Success in this role requires far more than technical expertise. We're looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, proactively identifies opportunities, independently partners across Engineering, Product, Credit Risk, Fraud and Business leadership, and helps drive decisions rather than simply reporting on them.

This role is ideal for someone with deep Credit Card analytics experience who enjoys operating in a fast-paced fintech environment where speed, business judgment, and execution matter.

What You'll Do:

  • Be a catalyst to help the card business functions operate strategically using data.
  • Drive evaluation of competing priorities across business functions and appropriate disposition solutions that are right-sized and scalable.
  • Drive business growth by identifying new opportunities and hypothesis development using data across Credit Risk, Portfolio management, Fraud and marketing.
  • Independently manage cross-functional relationships across Product, Engineering, Operations, Credit Risk, and executive leadership.
  • Influence stakeholders through clear communication and data-driven recommendations.
  • Develop A/B test designs to implement a robust test and learn strategy.
  • Perform ad-hoc analysis ranging from open exploration data analysis to specific root cause analysis.
  • Analyze Credit Card engagement and credit performance and identify levers and patterns that can increase card usage and utilization.
  • Liaison with Data Engineering and Product to build sustainable and scalable data solutions to address business’ current and future needs.
  • Own and manage BI reports becoming a focal point for business’ data and analytics needs.
  • Leverage AI tools to accelerate analytical velocity and democratize data through self-service agents and tools.

Requirements:

What you’ll bring:

  • 6+ years of experience in Analytics, Data Science, Decision Science, Credit Risk, or a related quantitative function.
  • Must have 4+ years supporting Credit Card portfolios, with deep experience in Credit Risk, Portfolio Management, Fraud Analytics, or Consumer Lending.
  • 4+ years of working with and proficient in SQL and excited about acquiring new technical skills.
  • 4+ years working with major BI platforms like Tableau or Sigma.
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in using Python or R to solve analytical problems.
  • Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Computer Science, Analytics, or another quantitative field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Hands-on technically and excited to drive things end-to-end.
  • Passionate about solving real-world problems with data.
  • Have a growth mindset and take proactive ownership.
  • An 80/20 mindset—delivering meaningful business impact quickly while maintaining analytical quality.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex analytical findings.
