GIS Analyst
Location: Candidate can be remote if local OH or PA
Contract: W2 Contract to Hire
Pay: $40/hour + optional medical, dental, vision, 401(k) match
The GIS Analyst will interpret engineering drawings, develop GIS solutions, and collaborate with various internal and external groups to enhance mapping and spatial analysis capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain maps, web apps, and reports using ESRI tools, leveraging Python/Arcade for automation and spatial analysis.
  • Partner with stakeholders to design and improve GIS solutions, including the TAMI web application.
  • Manage GIS requests and workload independently to meet project deadlines.
  • Analyze engineering needs and recommend mapping solutions using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online.
  • Train employees on GIS tools, workflows, and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot issues with TAMI and ESRI products (ArcGIS Pro, ArcMap, web apps).
  • Collaborate with vendors and external partners to ensure data accuracy and standards compliance.
  • Provide ongoing GIS support and guidance on mapping standards and procedures.
  • Coordinate across teams to align GIS deliverables with project timelines.
  • Research and implement new ESRI tools to improve efficiency and reduce errors.
  • Apply GIS solutions to support organizational performance and goals.
  • Ensure consistent GIS data standards across platforms.
