As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) at Pure Mind Therapeutics, you will play a vital role in the therapeutic healing process through the following responsibilities:

• Facilitating Group Therapy Sessions: You will lead engaging and interactive group therapy, providing a safe space for clients to share their experiences, learn from each other, and build a supportive community.
• Conducting Individual Therapy: You will provide one-on-one counseling focused on personalized interventions. This includes exploring clients' thoughts and feelings, developing coping strategies, and creating actionable plans for achieving their goals.
• Developing Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and create tailored, goal-oriented treatment plans that reflect their unique challenges and aspirations.
• Monitoring Progress: Utilize various assessment tools and feedback methods to evaluate clients’ progress, adjusting treatment strategies as necessary to ensure effective outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Maintain close communication with other professionals on the multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and consult on complex cases, ensuring the best possible support for our clients.

Your primary focus will be on young adults, aged 18 to 30, grappling with a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to trauma and stress. Your skills will help empower them to address their challenges head-on and pave the way for healthier coping mechanisms and emotional resilience.

• Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• A current and valid LPC license in Virginia is required.
• Strong commitment to providing high-quality mental health care.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling positive relationships with clients and team members.

• Experience working with adolescents and young adults, particularly in outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and dialectical behavior therapy (DBT).
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient documentation and tracking of client progress.
