OMB requires contractor support to assist multiple NOAA Fisheries offices (aka FMCs) with various administrative support functions.

Background

The Office of Management and Budget's (OMB) mission is to support NOAA Fisheries programs in executing their responsibilities. MB coordinates national planning and development efforts, ensuring that the appropriate internal and external stakeholders are involved. MB provides guidance and direction to NOAA Fisheries in the areas of strategic planning, budget formulation and execution, performance management, enterprise risk management, safety and environmental compliance, facilities and asset management, security, loans, grant and acquisition management, internal controls and compliance, appeals freedom of information act, administrative inquiries and other administrative areas.

Responsibilities
  • Perform a variety of secretarial and administrative support duties for program, department, or project offices.
  • Prepare, format, and produce correspondence, reports, proposals, memoranda, presentations, and other business documents.
  • Use Microsoft Office applications, including Word and Excel, to create and maintain professional documents and spreadsheets.
  • Review and proofread documents for accuracy, grammar, formatting, and completeness.
  • Organize and maintain electronic and physical files, records, and administrative documentation.
  • Provide copying, scanning, printing, and document production support as needed.
  • Coordinate administrative tasks and assist with the preparation and distribution of office materials.
  • Manage multiple administrative priorities while meeting deadlines and supporting day-to-day office operations.
Qualifications

Approximately 6 or more years related experience.

This position is fully remote and is based within the Washington, DC metropolitan area.

Compensation

This position is being recruited in support of a competitive federal contracting opportunity, and AES is continuing to develop its staffing, labor category, and compensation strategy. Because this position is expected to support a primarily remote workforce and qualified candidates may reside in different geographic markets throughout the United States, compensation expectations may vary considerably by location.

Final compensation will consider factors including geographic market, relevant experience, education, specialized records management expertise, applicable labor category requirements, and contractual and business considerations.
