Position Summary
POSTING FOR UNMC EMPLOYEES ONLY
This position supervises, mentors and evaluates subordinate Campus Security Officers (CSO), who provides safety, security, customer service, and emergency response services throughout Nebraska Medicine and the University of Nebraska Medical Center campuses, 24 Hours a Day/7 Days a Week. This role also performs administrative duties, such as scheduling, review of community access and electronic surveillance. This position will assign, direct, monitor and evaluate the work of subordinates; conduct field observations; train and advise subordinates; perform the work of Campus Security Officers on a back-up basis; compile and produce statistical reports; and aid with support services to ensure proper and complete monitoring of the property to enhance safety for members of the community and the protection of campus, hospital, and personal property.
