• Documentar de forma precisa y detallada la información de facturación del paciente (datos demográficos, seguros y pagos) en FACS y en los sistemas hospitalarios correspondientes.
• Orientar a pacientes, responsables de cuenta y terceros sobre procesos de facturación, balances pendientes, pagos de seguro, denegaciones y otras consultas relacionadas.
• Capacidad para ofrecer soluciones de pago, establecer acuerdos de pago y orientar sobre opciones de asistencia financiera.
• Mantener la confidencialidad de la información del paciente y sus expedientes médicos conforme a HIPAA y las políticas de la empresa y del cliente.
• Revisar y auditar cuentas según sea necesario para garantizar precisión y eficiencia.
• Habilidad para escribir y documentar información mientras se atienden llamadas.
• Organizar y administrar eficazmente el tiempo y las tareas asignadas.

• Educate patients, guarantors, and third parties on billing processes, unpaid balances, insurance adjustments, claim denials, and other related inquiries.
• Ability to provide account resolution by offering payment options, establishing payment agreements, or guiding financial assistance options.
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information, including medical records, in compliance with HIPAA, client, and company guidelines.
• Audit and review accounts as needed to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
• Skilled in typing while actively listening during calls.
• Effectively manage time and assigned tasks.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
