• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to establish a clear understanding of clients' mental health needs, ensuring the development of individualized and effective treatment plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to clients’ unique situations, which may include individual therapy, group therapy, and family counseling.
• Engage in regular collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other professionals to provide cohesive care that addresses each client's holistic mental health needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services with sensitivity and urgency, helping clients navigate acute situations that require immediate support and guidance.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives to foster mental health awareness and reduce stigma, contributing to the organization’s leadership in public health education.

This position focuses primarily on clients at our detox center—a pivotal step in their recovery process. You will work with a wide range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms. • Must hold an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or a doctor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required to ensure adequate theoretical grounding for practice.
• Demonstrated ability to build rapport with clients of diverse backgrounds through exceptional communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to navigate cultural sensitivities and adapt therapeutic approaches to suit clients from varied ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills to ensure timely documentation and adherence to best practices in client care.

• Experience working with substance use disorders or within a detox setting can be an asset.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or trauma-informed care is highly regarded.
