To thrive as a Remote Psychometrist, you need a solid understanding of psychological assessment, test administration, and scoring procedures, typically supported by a bachelor's or master's degree in psychology or a related field. Familiarity with computer-based testing platforms, secure telehealth software, and adherence to HIPAA compliance are essential technical requirements. Strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to work independently are critical soft skills for remote settings. These abilities ensure accurate and ethical assessment delivery, data integrity, and smooth collaboration with supervising psychologists and clients.
A typical day for a Remote Psychometrist involves administering a variety of standardized psychological tests to clients via secure video conferencing, accurately scoring these assessments, and preparing detailed reports for review by licensed psychologists. You’ll often coordinate schedules with both clients and supervising clinicians, troubleshoot any technical issues, and maintain thorough documentation for each session. Collaboration is usually conducted virtually, so clear digital communication and proactive follow-up are key. While the role offers flexibility and autonomy, it also requires strict adherence to ethical standards and protocols to ensure client confidentiality and data accuracy.
About the Role:
You will work with the Psychometrics and Research team to perform large-scale calibrations, scoring, monitoring, program improvement and technical reporting for the Uniform CPA Examination. You will perform programming and data analysis in both operational and research contexts; work across areas within the Examinations Team to provide accurate deliverables; and help implement systems and procedural process improvement. You will report to the Director, Psychometrics & Research and this role is remote.

Ph.D. in Psychometrics, I/O psychology, Quantitative Psychology, Educational Measurement or a related field
Entry-level candidates and recent graduates with relevant coursework, research, or internship experience will be considered.

The Annual Salary Range for this role is: $80,000- $95,000
