Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess mental health diagnoses, develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs, and consistently document progress in accordance with company policies.
  • Deliver evidence-based interventions, employing creativity and innovative techniques to help clients achieve and exceed their therapeutic goals.
  • Foster strong relationships by providing excellent customer service, collaborating with a diverse team to identify and bridge gaps in mental health care within our community.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of each session, including detailed case notes and treatment plan updates, adhering to organizational guidelines.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including case managers, families, healthcare professionals, and educational staff, to coordinate a holistic approach to client care.
  • Participate actively in clinical staff meetings and ongoing training, contributing to a learning environment that benefits both staff and clients.
  • Adapt and respond to additional responsibilities that emerge, as part of a team that values flexibility and initiative.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will work with a diverse population of clients within the Douglasville area, encompassing individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, including children, adolescents, and adults facing an array of mental health challenges. Your approach must be culturally sensitive and adaptive, recognizing and honoring each client's unique experiences and circumstances.

Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a behavioral science or a closely related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active clinical licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication skills, essential for effective client interactions and documentation.
  • Ability to establish and maintain healthy boundaries with clients, modeling professional standards throughout the therapeutic process.
  • Skilled in timely and thorough completion of documentation, safeguarding adherence to protocols and quality standards.
